Emphasis: Forensic Chemistry

Currently I am a junior at Southern Utah University.  I am a chemistry major, because I love to understand how things in the world work through chemistry.  Through my studies in higher education, my knowledge and hands-on experience with chemistry has grown immensely.  Some of the courses I have taken up to this point are biotechnology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and their associated labs.

For a future career, I want to help other people with my knowledge of chemistry.  Therefore, forensic chemistry appealed to me as a possible career.  That future career influenced me to do an internship at a crime lab for my EDGE project.
